Ninebark

A colour system for a plant nursery: eleven papers, chosen so that any two of them can sit next to each other on a label. The one project on this site that is not printed at the grade.

Everything else here is shown in monochrome because monochrome is how we look at form. Ninebark is the exception, and it is the exception on purpose: the deliverable is the colour, so a hard-grade black-and-white plate of it would be a picture of nothing.

It ships ungraded — the same crop, the same box, the same encoder, and no grade — beside five projects that went through it. That is the control. If the grade on the other five had quietly stopped being applied, this plate is the one that would still look different, and `scripts/plates.mjs` requires it to.
