A clearing in the beech wood, a celebrant from Ulverston and thirty guests on hay bales. Light under trees changes every few minutes, so the ceremony was timed for late afternoon when the sun came in low from the west.
The walk back to the cars took forty minutes and gave us most of the portraits.
